Founded by Damien Smith and Eddie Bender, Prosper Property Group is a full-service, vertically integrated real estate development firm specializing in luxury rentals and condominiums across Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. The firm oversees every phase of the real estate process, including acquisitions, debt financing, investment sales, rental brokerage, development, asset management and property management. Prosper’s portfolio includes a mix of residential properties, along with select office and retail spaces.

In his 25 year career, Damien Smith has established himself as a distinguished figure in the real estate and construction industry. Successfully delivering over 50 projects as a general contractor, including ground up developments, vertical and horizontal extensions, and complex building combinations. Damien takes pride in exceeding industry standards and producing exceptional results. A dedicated family man, he relishes his active personal life with his wife and four children.

Eddie Bender, an experienced real estate professional, has overseen the acquisitions and finances during his 10-year career, managing over $415m in assets and securing over $350m in construction & permanent financing. He has facilitated the development of mixed-use buildings totaling over 700,000 square feet, built or entitled. Outside of work, Eddie mentors Syracuse University business students, is on the advisory board for his fraternity’s real estate matters and is part of the Lower East Side Partnership. Residing on the Upper East Side, Eddie enjoys traveling and is an enthusiastic golfer.
